Utilities

You'll need to place all utility accounts for your rental in your name immediately following the lease signing. Be sure to do this promptly to avoid losing access to your utilities.

Move-out Checklist

Notice of Intent to Vacate

Planning to move out of your rental? Please provide us with written notice of your intent to vacate, in accordance with the terms o your lease.

Property Condition

Before returning the keys for your rental home, please take care of the following:

Rental Cleaning: Before moving out of your rental, thoroughly clean the unit. Start by decluttering and removing all personal items. Dust and wipe down all surfaces, including countertops, shelves, and windowsills. Clean the kitchen appliances inside and out, paying special attention to the oven, stovetop, and refrigerator. Scrub the bathrooms, including toilets, sinks, showers, and bathtubs. Vacuum and mop all floors, and clean carpets if necessary.

Landscaping & Outdoor Areas: If you typically address outdoor maintenance for your property, including lawn care, take care of these responsibilities once more before vacating the premises.

Repairs: If any damage has occurred during your stay, take the necessary steps to repair the damages. This may include patching nail and screw holes, replacing broken glass, and repainting any stained walls.

Security Deposit

We will perform a final inspection after you vacate your rental. If we identify any damages, we will schedule repairs. Your security deposit will be used to cover related expenses. The remainder will be returned to you.

Remember, you cannot use your deposit to cover your final rent payment. Failure to pay your rent may result in adverse credit reporting and legal action.
